Magi Sumpter is a part-time paralegal, part-time college burnout from West Monroe, Louisiana. They got a small claim to fame on Wattpad in middle school, but those vampire-Harry Styles fights werewolf-Luke Hemmings fan fictions are all dead to the Internet now. She promises she's improved since then.
She is the founder, editor-in-chief, and sole survivor of Southchild Lit; a column contributor for The Jupiter Review; and the co-founder of cat coalition, a weekly newsletter highlighting submission calls for literary magazines (accompanied with pictures of the editors' cats).
